We are excited to announce that Master Home Builder and Woodmaster Expert, Gary Striegler, is going to be on-site again at Mark's Machinery to share some of his tips, tricks, and trade secrets. Woodworkers from all over the U.S. traveled to Fort Smith to attend the our previous classes, and the feedback has been great!
Whether you're a Woodmaster Owner, or a prospective customer looking to see one in action, now's your chance to learn from one of the best in the business. Gary will spend an entire day working the ins and outs of the Woodmaster 718.
Morning Session: Four ways to step up your Game with a Woodmaster.
- Planing, from rough lumber to final thickness.
- Gang Ripping, the safest way to size lumber.
- Making Molding = Making Money!
- Sanding, the finishing touch.
Afternoon Session: Curved molding from layout to install.
- Layout - Eyebrow, Circle Top, and Elliptical molding.
- Creating a curved blank, how to glue up stain grade and paint grade blanks.
- Profiling the blank. Match any existing trim pattern, or create your own.
- Cutting and installing curved trim. Matching angles, and making the joint.
Cost is $75.00 for the entire day. Lunch is provided.

Mantels, Wainscot, Newel Post, Columns and Paneled Jambs are all traditional trim elements that can transform the look of any room. In this class Gary will share the methods he has used for the last 30 years to create amazing award-winning interiors. The secret is frame and panel construction. Gary combines custom moldings made on his Woodmaster molder with the speed and strength of Kreg pocket hole joinery to build his signature trim details.

Cabinet Making "The Kreg Way" with Gary Striegler
Class is open to 20 participants. $75 Per person. Register online or call 479 461 5079 to enroll. This is a great class! Gary will be sharing some of his best Tips, Tricks and Techniques to build base and upper cabinets as well a cabinet doors and drawers. Gary will be demonstrating how to properly use many of Kreg's most popular tools including The DB210 Pocket hole machine, KWS-1000 Mobile Project Work Center, KHI-HINGE Concealed Hinge Jig, KHI-SLIDE Drawer Slide Jig, KMA-3200 Shelf Pin Jig and a whole lot more. He will also be demonstrating his favorite clamps from BESSEY as well as his most popular Whiteside router bits for his cabinet trim details and a short molding demonstration with the Woodmaster. He will be using Tenryu saw blades for the class. Lunch will be provided as well as some great door prizes. Hope to see you there!
Class is Full! Curved Molding with Gary Striegler and the Woodmaster
Gary will be using the Woodmaster Planer/Molder to do demonstrate the process of making Curved molding as well as how to layout and install
1. Layout for 3 forms of curved trim. Eyebrow, circle top, and Elliptical (bonus section S curves)
2. Creating a curved blank, how to glue up stain grade pieces and accurately cutting paint grade ones.
3. Profiling the blank. Match any existing trim pattern or create your own.
4. Cutting and installing curved trim. Getting the angels right and making the joint.

Gary will be using Kreg's Cabinet Making jigs to make and install cabinet doors and drawers and trim details on the base cabinet built during the morning cabinet making class. Class is open to 20 participants. Cost is $50 for this session or $75 to participants wishing to attend both morning and afternoon sessions.

River Valley Woodturners
First meeting of the River Valley Woodturners for 2018. This months meeting will feature a turning tool sharpening demonstration with the Oneway Wolverine Sharpening System. No cost for attending and visitors are welcome. Membership dues are $24 for those wishing to join the club.
